O’s Notes: Cuban/Venezuelan pianist, arranger and composer César Orozco leads a festive band called Kamarata Jazz incorporating 17 musicians in a spirited session. Co-producer Rodney Padilla does a fine job anchoring the rhythms on electric bass with Gabriel Vivas playing double bass on two selections notably “Volvo Rumba”. We also enjoyed “Chacha Para Purri”, “Con Mi Tabor” and the title track.
