O’s Notes: We plugged this CD in during a hour delay at the airport. Yes, it is true to the title and it helped us relax! Mitchell’s alto sax is buttery smooth on top of the soulful and funky sounds of the band. Cherese Simpson Blackbuddafly adds vocals on “When We First Met” and Tara Aldridge sings “Outstanding” adding more flavors to the instrumentals. Among the best were “Sharp Shooter”, “Groove Lounge” and “Just Groovin'”.
