O’s Notes: This is another CTI classic originally released in 1971 featuring the warm throaty tenor sax of Stanley Turrentine. He is soulful and even spiritual including a rich arrangement of “I Told Jesus” featuring Eric Gale (g). It is Stanley’s date and he wails on the title track before delivering a romantic lead line on “I Haven’t Got Anything Better To Do” backed by a lush string section. They add Caribbean flair of “Storm”, a grooving track again accented by Gale.
