O’s Notes: Court (t, cornet) performs a dozen of his compositions, all inspired by the San Francisco Bay – the Sausalito Summer. “Bridgeway” has a lazy swagger while “Tam Junction” has a cool bounce. Both feature Scott Peterson with solos on tenor sax. The title track gets a little funky to help make this session, like the Bay Area, an experience with multiple attractions.
