O’s Notes: Kristen Mather de Andrade is a clarinetist, vocalist, producer, and educator who combines Brazilian, orchestral, and jazz into her own signature. Sem Fim is her last album featuring a 15-piece ensemble. The music is fresh and engaging. We enjoyed the vocals in both English and Portuguese. “Frevo Novo” with guest Sean Jones (t), and “Clarinete Dengoso” were also notable.
