O’s Notes: Nestor places flute melodies on top of funky, Latin, contemporary beats. The program is light and refreshing especially songs like “Regálame La Silla Donde Te Espere” and “No Worries”. Torres wrote/co-wrote many of the songs along with pianist James Lloyd and Jimmy Haslip (b). We liked the upbeat tracks best like “Maybe Tonight” featuring co-writer and guitarist Carlos Pennisi and “Gypsy Dancer” which is garnering lots of air play.
