O’s Notes: Somethin’ Good is the culmination of the past seven years in the life of contemporary jazz artist Mark Meadows (p, vocals). He’s in a good place and shares it a strong band that includes Paul Bollenback (g), Warren Wolf (vibes), Christie Dashiell (vocals) and Eric Wheeler (b). The program is all original except for three reconstituted classics: “Come Together”, “Rock With You” and “Groovin’ High”. Other highlights are the racy title track, “Way Up Here” and “Get Lost”.
