O’s Notes: This is without a doubt Philip’s best solo album yet! He mixes up the eleven songs with some jazz standrds – “Nature Boy”, some mid-tempo R&B – “My Indiscretions”, and romantic ballads that remind us of Earth Wind and Fire like “Unrestrained” and “Mercy Mercy Mercy”. His backup band is also tight including bassist David Dyson, Buly Kilson on drums and Bob Belden (sax). A clear winner!
