O’s Notes: Vibraphonist Dave Shank leads a quintet featuring John Patitucci (b), Terry Silverlight (d), Barry Mile (p) and Mike Migliore (sax). They open up swinging on the title track including a fine solo by Patitucci, one of his many insertions on the set. These are all new compositions by Shank with the lead line rotating from vibes to sax to piano. All of the solos are first rate and the cohesion between the band is very good resulting in a fine session.
