O’s Notes: Once again the creative free jazz saxophonist, Ivo Perelman pairs up with another musician to play cat and mouse with spontaneous upbeat improvisation. His partner Jason Stein is also a saxophonist and together they take us through an eight-part session titled“Spiritual Prayers. This is an approachable effort with well-coordinated interplay. They don’t skip the opportunity to squawk like angry birds on “Pt. 4” but otherwise they are peaceful or playing in good spirits.
