O’s Notes: This one is high on the funk quotient led by Dodge on bass. It’s extreme contemporary: urban funk vs. jazz. There are sixteen songs and the groove is nonstop. Dodge anchors the bottom with a tight round bottom that makes you want to dance. The vocals remind us of the Funkadelics and The Gap Band. You can take a trip back to the late 1970s with a little hip hop modernization. If this is your stick, it’s a winner.
