It’s the easy-access and mild head-bobbing groove along with wailing, passionate solos that makes this a winner with a large audience. Steven Eugene Grove, (sax) aka Euge Groove, is the composer and among the many musicians capitalizing on this genre. He enlists the support of a solid cast that includes percussionist Lenny Castro, Chuck Loeb (g), Peter White (g), Paul Jackson, Jr. (G) and Oleta Adams (vocals). There are many upbeat ballads and a soulful vocal featuring Oleta Adams.
