O’s Notes: Marta was born in Europe, attended school in US and Spain and has been rooted in New York since 1996. The dominant theme on Sueño Verde is Latin vocals (in Spanish) with some bluegrass violins, warm brass and smooth guitar. There is an excellent sense of rhythm and pace that makes the music flow especially on tunes like “Obsesionada”. Topferova and guitarist Enrique Lopez wrote all of the songs. The end result sounds natural, relaxing and rich.
