O’s Notes: Gordon is an R&B singer with a free flowing, soulful style that is easy to embrace. He also composed the majority of the music on“Surrender. Lalah Hathaway makes a guest appearance on “Back To Love” and Carol Riddick guest stars on “Imaginary Lover” adding gentle touches to the mix. There’s a lot of electronic instrumentation supporting the vocals but it all comes together in a memorable set.
