O’s Notes: The End is a punk rock band that has a polarizing sound. If it resonates with you, you’re in for a treat but we suspect the audience will be limited. The band is a quartet with Sofia Jernberg (voice), Mats Gustafson (sax, electronics), Kjetil Moster (sax, electronics), Anders Hana (g) and Greg Saunier (d, voice). Their music is edgy, eerie, spooky and dark, sometimes painful. “Don’t Wait” says it all: political madness that we hear in their conveyance to music.
