O’s Notes: Pianist, singer Joe McBride is back with all new music for his seventh appearance on Heads Up. This is a polished act and it’s still shining to the delight of contemporary R&B jazz fans. The Texas Rhythm Club is Joe’s band and they provide a solid groove, especially the bluesy guitar of Todd Parsnow on “Double Down”. We also liked the smooth groove of the title track, the funky “All In” and Joe’s soulful vocals on “Giving It All To You” and “I’m Here For You”.
