O’s Notes: Jazz Sabbath is a band that combines jazz with classic heavy metal. The core of the band is leader Adam Wakeman (keyboards), Jack Tustin (b) and Ash Sloan (d). They add six guest artists for a racy, fusion that is spot on for the period. We liked it then, and even now. “Spiral Architect”, “The Wizard”, and “Supernaut” are among the best in a 7-song set.
