O’s Notes: These two gentlemen don’t need an introduction in the world of contemporary jazz. They have written and produced hit after hit. For their second ‘Project’ they compose 90% of the materials and employ top talent like Chris Botti (t), Peter Erskine (d), Luis Conte (perc) and the insatiable power of The Nashville String Machine. We liked “Montecito” with scatting and background vocals from David Pack, the funky “Struttin'” and the relaxed Caribbean groove of “Club Havana”.
