O’s Notes: Concord certainly has a wealth of Latin artists to pull from. Mongo Santamaria, Cal Tjader, Chico O’Farrill, Eddie Palmieri, The Latin Soul Brothers, Poncho Sanchez and Tito Puente are represented here. The music is Latin but with solid foot pattin’ soul, dancing music. “Soul Sauce”, “Manteca” and “Picadillo A Lo Puente” are a few of the 14 songs.
