O’s Notes: Chelsey plays violin in contemporary jazz space. Her style has elements of the famed John Luc Ponty but with a touch more funk. If that isn’t enticing, I encourage y to pop in the CD ’cause she in cutting up from the opening notes of “Dr. Funk” and gets soulful on her take of “People Make The World Go ‘Round” before getting passionate on “My Favorite things. Green composed half of the songs on The Green Room showing promise of more good music to come!
