O’s Notes: Percussionist Tom Teasley created this music as the soundscape for The Love of The Nightingale. The groove is tribal made in the Greek and Balkan tradition. It is a fusion between Eastern and Western music with Teasley using a wealth of percussion instruments both ancient and modern. With the exception of the opener “Dance of Aphrodite” with bassist Jim Robeson, Teasley plays all instruments. This is a moving multicultural experience.
