O’s Notes: This is Joe’s attempt to establish himself on vibes. The music is a relaxing cool jazz with mild calypso beats notably on “Tu-Way -Pock-E-Way” with subtle sax from blending nicely with the vibes. The song selection is strong featuring a mix of classic jazz arrangements with a few originals and a couple of jazzed up R&B with special guest vocalist Nicole Guiland. Aside from Joe’s good showing on the vibes, this is a very good CD.
