O’s Notes: Joe is back with his contemporary jazz signature. He seems to only get better with time creating fresh takes on a formula that has appeal to a wide audience. The groove is easy to pick up but not so simple that it becomes passé after one or two takes. Howard Hewett adds a couple of cool vocal tracks to further broaden the appeal on another winner for Sample.
