O’s Notes: Steve displays fine guitar techniques throughout The Single Petal of a Rose. These are eighteen of classic jazz tunes penned by Ellington and Strayhorn. Steve’s solo guitar gives the songs a different character. We especially liked the bluegrass feel of “The Gal From Joe’s” and “Pelican Drag”.
