O’s Notes: RJ plays keyboards, composed all or parts of five songs and arranged all of the music. He blends old school soul, jazz and R&B together for a romantic reprieve that is indeed soothing. The Assignment is his band featuring singer Jocelyn Winston. He also solicits guest appearances from seven artists including guitarist Jeff Ray, Wendy Karigianes (vocals) and Khari Bowden (spoken word). The Stroke of Midnight is up to its billing.
