O’s Notes: Jussi Reijonen plays fretted & fretless guitars and the oud. He leads a large ensemble playing his compositions. Three Seconds (Kolme Tristan) is his second release, 9+ years after his debut! Much has transpired but Reijonen has re-emerged with a vengeance. His music is world-fusion jazz with mid-East and Indian spices generously applied. There are five lengthy originals that at times are intergalactic, adventurous and soothing. We liked ”Verso”, “The Veil” and “Median”.
