O’s Notes: This is one for lovers of reggae! Bassist Victor Rice establishes the grooves that anchor the band. Victor Axelrod plays, drums, all keyboards and percussion. There are several featured singers notably Mayra Vega who shines on “Mi Sonsito”. Aaron Johnson adds trombones on a few tracks to spice things up a bit but the theme is centered on a club groove. Our favorite track is “Want Not” with Tamar-kali.
