O’s Notes: Guitarist John Basile leads talented band including bassist David Finck and Joe Locke on vibes. The program has a great mix of tunes with cool new arrangements. They play “Killer Joe” with a slow funky groove and swing on “La Samba”. John’s melodies are buttery smooth and easy to listen to. He jazzed up the soul classics “Betcha By Golly Wow” and “For The Love Of You”. You can dance to the Latin beats of “Morning” and relax on the mellow tones of “Time Will Reveal”. All of these jazzy instrumentals are tastefully done well making this a great album.
