O’s Notes: Saxophonist Eric Alexander and pianist Mike LeDonne perform Together as a duo with many solos dispersed in the nine compositions. Half of the selections are originals like “Mutation” & “Lost But Not Forgotten”, along with several freshly arranged classics like “Round Midnight”. Both musicians are proven, poised and confident, with a high degree of trust and respect for each other. Their prowess comes out but never in a boastful manner. Just sit back and take it in!
