O’s Notes: Tranceportation (Volume 2) picks up where Volume 1 (81) left off, continuing the pulsating club beats on four more lengthy selections (9:40 – 12:42 minutes each). It’s heavy on guitars led by David Torn with Stephan Thelen and Bernhardt Wagner playing tritone guitars. Christian Kuntner (b) and Manuel Pasquinelli (d, perc) maintain the pronounced low end. They continue to hold our favored status in this space with “Triskaidekaphilia” and the title track.
