O’s Notes: The title, Tranquil Fjord and the sunset on the cover are a perfect description of Gisle’s music. It is reflective, relaxing and peaceful. Auden Ellingsen plays bass with Hermund Nygård on drums and leader Torvik playing all guitars. Even when the pace picks up on “Kryssande” and “Lang Veg Heim”, the soothing spirit remains. And there is a wealth of warm tunes like “Arv” that showcase Torvik’s talent.
