O’s Notes: Clark Gibson plays sax, flute and composed the music for“Tri-Colored Eyes, his latest release. He leads the band with Jim Pisano (t-sax), Euan Edmonds (tb), Pat Bianchi (B3) and Jeremy Thomas (d). They play seven of Gibson’s compositions with a cool jazz-fusion feel owed to Bianchi. Among the best tunes are ‘Love Letters‘, ‘Jack‘ and ‘Nocturne Blues‘.
