He leads a band with Wayne Cobham (t, flugelhorn), Richard Turner, Jr. (keyboards), Del Atkins (b), Ronnie Kaufman (d, perc), and Eric McKain (perc). The groove is tight on “Mr. Walker” featuring Turner on organ and Cobham. They relax on the beautiful “Self Portrait”, and swing on “GG” with Mac Donald shining on both capping a good session.
