O’s Notes: Keyboardist Ray Lyon teams up with bassist Jimmy Haslip and drummer Bill Berg to make“Trinity One. There are a lot of sustained piano tones, sweet warm mellow tones that give the music an airy, sedative feeling. It puts you in a peaceful place making this a relaxing recording. Seven of the eight selections are Lyon originals. They also play a good arrangement of Miles Davis’ “Solar”.
