She’s back-to-reality blues on the title track with a spiritual bent, then swinging on “Accentuate the Positive” and classics like “Moanin’” featuring Carey Frank on the B3. Guitarist Larry Koonse shines on the soulful “Nick Of Time” and “Here’s To Life”. Truth Be Told is a strong statement of contemporary jazz and blues!
