O’s Notes: Andrew is a Neu sax voice on the smooth jazz scene. He composed the majority of the music on this set but invited several established artists/producers to assist him. Chuck Loeb (g), Gerald Veasley (b) and Brian Bromberg (b) share production duties and each also perform on selected tracks. Bobby Caldwell sings “Next Time I Fall”, the lone vocal track while Brian Culbertson (tb) and Dave Weckl (d) make a cameo appearance on “The Nut”, a funky instrumental written by Dave Kochanski (keyboards). Neu corals the wealth of talent and injects his own special sauces playing alto, soprano and tenor sax. The result is a solid CD with good variety and a lot of radio friendly grooves.
