Jazz Ruler Type: R&B+Jazz
O’s Notes: Kirk’s tenor takes on whatever mood is appropriate: R&B on the opener, funky for the title cut, accompanying a vocalist on “Real Love” or whipping up a fervor as on “Groverworked and Underpaid”. It is this variety that keeps his audiences pleased. He is best when pushing hard, wreaking havoc and working us into a frenzy.
