O’s Notes: The San Gabriel Seven are an LA-based band including Kyle Palmer (t), Glen Berger (sax, oboe, fl), Jim Lewis (tb), Alex Budman (sax, fl, cl), Steve Gregory (g), Chad Edwards (keyboards), Jonathan Pintoff (b) Randy Drake (d), Scott Breadman (perc) and many guest artists. The featured vocalist is Sienna Eeg and she does a wonderful job, especially on ”What About Love”, “Under The Stars” and “Getting Along With Love”. Eeg’s vocals, crisp horn accents and solos, and a solid beat make this an enticing encounter.
