O’s Notes: Urbanity is guitarist Albare with Phil Turcio playing keyboards and programming. The music is smooth jazz with a lot of syncopated beats like the funky groove on “Deep”. The songs range from upbeat dance numbers to relaxing chillers like “You’re in My Dreams”. We enjoyed Albare’s fretwork on tunes like “Something Sweet” and “The Mind Reader”.“Urban Soul“is a good set of contemporary jazz songs.
