O’s Notes: Gerald is one of the funkiest bass players on the contemporary jazz scene today. He plays mostly his own compositions mixed with a few vocals like his cover of the soul classic “Let’s Do It Again” featuring vocals from Jaguar Wright and John Stephens. It is a nicely blended session from the funky “Coup DeVille” to the cool title track. It’s creatively fresh and worth repeated listening sessions.
