O’s Notes: While Joey D, John’s son is taking a lot of headlined on the Hammond these days; this serves as a reminder that we can’t forget “Papa”! John teams up with his son Johnny on guitar, Glenn Ferracone (d) and Tim Warfield (sax). Joey also makes a couple of appearances. There are eight tracks including four originals. They definitely have a good soul feeling complete with scratching guitar rhythms and tight beats. This is a solid performance, especially on the closer “1060 Million Dollar Chinese Man”.
