O’s Notes: You may recognize Jerry as the sax voice in the Max Weinberg 7 on the Conan O’Brien show. He’s rather boisterous there and is well suited for the entertainment world. Vivino plays a variety of jazz and blues styles centered on making music to thrill his audience. He is very entertaining on stage. We caught him live at Shanghai Jazz in NJ where he played many of the tunes on this album. Walking with the Wazmo is as jazzy as the name implies; swinging, cooking, simmering on the cool side and well as including some Latin flavors. It is balanced and fun.
