O’s Notes: Barb wanted the mood for this CD to be hidden emotions. That quickly led to a wealth of songs with clowns and jesters and the like. So we find a collection of twelve classics sung with great emotion featuring Jungr. “This Masquerade” and the bouncy “Cathy’s Clown” are a couple of highlights. Barb has a voice as pleasing as a pop singer but with a lot more substance. The band is exceptional which adds to the enjoyment. And the music sounds full, warm and ‘there’ courtesy of a great SACD recording.
