O’s Notes: This is a collection of relaxed easy listening instrumentals featuring Shires on trumpet and flugelhorn Producer/arranger Jack Jezzro also plays electric and acoustic guitar with David Huntsinger (p), Jim White (d), Eric Darken (perc) and Jim Ferguson (b) rounding out the band. Leif’s tone is really mellow and soothes the soul. Jezzro’s arrangements of standards like “Moon River” and the title track are fresh and well suited for his instrumentation. We also enjoyed the bossa nova treatment of “Unforgettable”, “I Will Wait For You” and “Nature Boy”.
