O’s Notes: Butch plays trumpet, trombone and sings. He opens with the jazzy “Butch’s Blues”, the sole instrumental. From there he is onto a smooth R&B infused vocal set. There is the romance of “Dreamin'”; soulful smooth jazz like “All The Love” and funky old school R&B on “Freak-N-You”. Harrison wrote most of the songs and they are fresh takes of good R&B. Other highlights are “Slip Away” and “Party Over Here”. This is a retro R&B good time.
