O’s Notes: Jimmy partners with fellow Pittsburgh native, Gene Ludwig (Hammond B3) and drummer Cecil Brooks III to form his first organ trio recording for High Note. It is a winner. We fell in love with the middle tracks “God Bless The Child”, “Besame Mucho” and the bluesy “Please Give Me Someone To Love” but each of the seven classics are notable. Ponder is a guitarist that plays warms soulful melodies that resonate with the listener to the point that you find your self humming the tune hours later!
