O’s Notes: Guadeloupe vocalist Guy Konket wrote this installment of a Creole project that continues to inspire. There is a heavy dose of drums and percussion that hints at reggae with the strong African beats. Murray complements the vocals and beat with a squawking, talking and energetic tenor sax. Gwo-ka drummer Klod Kiavué also falls into the mix with syncopated beats that make this music dance.
