Cyrus draws upon his broad base of influences to express his feelings and happiness and harmony with life. You’ll hear the soulful gospel touch on “Precious Lord”, stride on “Erroling” and his arrangement of “You Are My Sunshine” has a gospel blues feel. And of course he can swing as evidenced on “Lighthearted Intelligence”. Chestnut is a man that is in harmony with life and his satisfaction comes through in the music.
