O’s Notes: The Diva Jazz Orchestra is an all female large ensemble with a wealth of talent. There is an abundance of brass and reeds with a definitive rhythm section including Noriko Ueda (b), Tomoko Ohno (p) and musical director Sherie Maricle (d).
