O’s Notes: In Concert is a live session capturing the masterful pianist in prime form. He dances across the keys in a jolly fashion that warms the audience. He takes us through meaningful arrangements of six classic tunes. He teams with bassist Neil Swainson for a delightfully interactive session, especially on “Freedom Jazz Dance” and “Lullaby Of Birdland”. It was just released in 2023 to capturing the late pianist in prime form with the venerable Canadian bassist.
